Born in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, Travis has been involved with music since a young age.  Coming from a non-musical family it was difficult to find his own calling card for music. Having taking guitar, bass, piano and saxophone lessons for various amounts of time Travis finally discovered his love for drums.

For the last 4 years Travis has been diversifying his playing by practicing various styles of music.  Studying with Michael Taylor who had sparked his interest in more complex rhythms, Travis began learning how to play various forms of Jazz, Latin, and Funk music which would further interest him to continue his study at Mohawk College. Travis has studied with instructors such as Ted Warren, Anthony Michelli, Kevin Dempsey and Michael Stewart.  Each having a strong impact on his musical career.  

 

Travis has been performing live since 2010 and has been active in the Brampton Music scene for six years and counting.  Playing countless shows around Brampton and the GTA that are organized by band members and the Brampton art council, Travis is a regular when it comes to the art of performing.   

Travis is currently a music student at Mohawk College who aims to further his education with advanced schooling.
